Established in 2017, the Peace Island Children’s Center (PICC) is a transformational organization focused on improving living conditions for residents in the fishing communities surrounding Lake Victoria, Uganda.
We proudly and passionately support the people of Lake Victoria, with particular attention given to the region’s at-risk children and adolescents.

OUR STORY
In Uganda's Buwunga village, the PICC is working to transform a community marked by hardship and limited access to basic services. Since 2017, initiatives like revitalizing the primary school and introducing critical health/dental care and learning programs have made a marked impact. Our vision is a Buwunga where every child thrives—supported by a robust network of education and opportunity.
